Thanksgiving is foundational to the Christian life. It is conscious response that comes from looking beyond our blessings--to their source.
The past month or so, I have been in an attitude of gratitude. I am approaching a milestone, one that I never thought I would reach. I had a healing of sorts, 10 years ago and for so long I felt there was no hope. I began the road to healing on 11/3/98 and it is with such thanksgiving I praise God for His healing touch on my life.
I am grateful for the disciples He placed in my path over the past 10 years.
I am grateful that He knew my need before I even spoke it out loud.
I am grateful for the gifts that He has instilled within me to now give others that Hope that I for so long had lost, but once again found.
I don't take God's blessings for granted.
